We are SO excited you’re here! This page answers some of the most common questions we have been asked, so you feel confident and prepared before your first visit.

📍 Where are you located?
Wellspring Fitness Co. is located at:
214 Clinton Street, Defiance, Ohio
We are the door next to the “Spencer” alley sign, in a yellow/tan building.
Our front door is directly across the street from the alleyway between the VFW and the courthouse.

🅿️ Where do I park?
You have a couple easy options:
✅ Street parking in front of the building
✅ If street parking is full, there is a well-lit parking lot behind the building
✅ There is also a well-lit alley you can walk through to get to our building
You can enter the alley from 1st Street or 2nd Street—it’s directly behind our building 😊

Please enter through our front door at 214 Clinton Street, right next to the Spencer Alley sign.

✨ What should I expect for my first class?
We want your first class to feel fun, comfortable, and welcoming!
Here’s what to expect:
• Arrive about 10–15 minutes early (especially for your first visit)
• We’ll help you get checked in and set up
• Expect great music, high energy, and encouragement
• You can modify everything to your fitness level
You don’t have to “get in shape first.” You belong here.

🎒 What should I bring with me?
We recommend bringing:
✅ A bottle of water
✅ A towel if you choose (you’ll sweat!)
✅ Comfortable workout clothes
✅ Tennis shoes / gym shoes / or SPD Clip in Cycling Shoes

👟 Shoe Policy (Please Read!)
🚫 No street shoes on the studio floor when it is wet outside.
If it’s wet outside (snow/rain/mud), please bring a clean, dry pair of gym shoes to change into at the door.
We want to protect our floors and keep our studio clean and safe for everyone 🤍

🚿 Do you have a locker room / shower?
Yes! We have a private locker room for men and women that includes:
• 1 shower
• 1 toilet
• 1 sink
• space to change
✅ This is a one-person-at-a-time locker room for privacy.

🏋️ Small Private Gym + 24/7 Access (Unlimited Monthly Membership)
Our gym is a small, private training space with 24/7 access for members who want a quiet, no-pressure place to work out.
This space originally started as a family & friends gym, using quality used equipment we personally have collected and trained on ourselves. As our community grew, we decided to open it up to our members, so more people could enjoy a simple, comfortable place to stay consistent.
What’s inside the gym?
✅ Weight machines + strength equipment
✅ A cardio room
✅ A clean, private atmosphere (not crowded like big gyms)
How do I get 24/7 access?
Once you sign up for a Monthly Unlimited Package, you will be given a private access code for the back door so you can come and go during access hours.
About the building setup
Black Market Jiu-Jitsu is located in the front of the 216 Clinton Street building for scheduled classes (The store front next to the Cycling Studio).
The gym area then fills the back of that side of the building, and is separated with a door that can be closed, creating privacy for members working out in the gym space.

📲 How do I book a class? (WellnessLiving ACHIEVE App)
Step 1: Purchase your package
1. Go to the Wellspring Fitness Co. website
2. On the home page, click “BOOK NOW”
3. The WellnessLiving store will open in your browser
4. Select your package and check out
You’ll be prompted to:
• Sign in or create an account
• Add a card on file
• Sign the waiver (required before booking classes)

Step 2: Download the ACHIEVE app
Download the WellnessLiving “ACHIEVE” app in the App Store.
Then:
1. Log in using the same email/password you created online
2. Tap Classes
3. Book the class you want
4. Tap NEXT to confirm

Tip: Only want Wellspring Fitness Co. classes (not Jiu-Jitsu)?
In the top right corner of the app, tap the menu (3 lines) and filter by Staff Member.
Select:

This will help you see our Wellspring Fitness Co. classes for the week without scrolling through everything.

🚴♀️ Cycling Classes – Choosing Your Bike
For cycling classes, you can choose which bike you want when you book.
Our bike numbers in the diagram work like this:
• The instructor is the small emoji Bike, on my bike up front facing the riders
• Bike 1 starts with the first bike to the right of the instructor
• Then Bike 2
• The bikes continue around the room in a "U" shape, up to Bike 16
• Bike 16 is the bike to the left of the instructor
Pick your bike, book it… BOOM—you’re in! 😄

🔁 How do I cancel a class?
If you need to cancel:
1. Open the ACHIEVE app
2. Tap Schedule at the bottom
3. Tap your class
4. Tap Cancel
✅ There is no late cancel charge at this time.
However, we strongly ask that you cancel at least 4–6 hours before class (or the night before for early morning classes) so waitlist members can get in.
If frequent last-minute cancels become an issue for our early morning classes, we may add a late cancellation fee in the future—but we are hoping we won’t have to.

❌ What is your No-Show Policy?
You WILL be charged a $10 No-Show Fee if:
• You book a class or bike
• You do not cancel
• And you do not attend
If it’s an emergency, please let us know—no-shows can be overridden by the owner, at their discretion, for occasional “oops” moments.
Frequent no-shows will be charged $10.00 each time, and if it becomes a major issue, that person may be required to only book the morning of class.
